Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

There are several groups of Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist in our parish who assist the parish priest in ministering the Eucharist to our congregation.
The groups are included on the church roster for both churches (Sacred Heart Church in Yeppoon and Mary Immaculate Church in Emu Park). Before Mass the ministers act as welcomers and hand out the weekly bulletin to our parishioners as they arrive at Mass. After Mass the ministers attend to the cleansing of the altar vessels, closing windows and doors and pickup any left over bulletins.
